Please plan to attend the 2020 Washington County Republican Party Candidate Forum and Convention. The sign-in and social time is from 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM. The Candidate Forum is from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Following the Forum, Washington County Republican Delegates will hold their 2020 Convention. The event will be held at the Blair Public Library & Technology Center at 2233 Civic Drive, Blair, NE. All Republican candidates are welcome to speak at the Forum.
Please plan to attend the Washington County Republican Party Central Committee meeting on Monday, January 27, 2020 beginning at 7:00 PM at the American Legion in Ft Calhoun
Please mark your calendars and plan to stop by the Washington County Republican Party Christmas Party at Too Far North in Ft Calhoun. Please feel free to bring an appetizer or Hors d’oeuvre. Drink tickets will be provided for Nebraska craft beers & wines from Too Far North. We will be solving all the worlds issues as well. 🙂
Despite rainy weather before and during the 2019 Washington County Fair Parade, the Washington County Republicans parade float entry was a success. Following the parade, the WCRP served over 340 ice cream treats to fair and rodeo attendees. Republican office holders in the parade and helping serve treats included Nebraska State Senator Ben Hansen, Washington County Attorney Scott Vander Schaaf, Washington County Sheriff Mike Robinson, Blair City Councilman Kevin Willis and Burt County Attorney Frank Barron. Many thanks to all WCRP members who participated!
We do need volunteers for the upcoming Washington County Fair events:
The 2019 WCRP Fair Booth has been set up and is ready for volunteers to man it. Washington County Republicans are encouraged to take a hour (or even a 1/2 hour) whenever they are attending the fair to sit in the WCRP Fair Booth. There is even a life-sized cutout of President Trump for folks to take selfies.
We also need volunteers for the Washington County Fair parade on Sunday, July 28th.

Please plan to join the Washington County Republicans in the 2019 Washington County Fair Parade on Sunday, July 28, 2019. Line-up begins at 3:30 pm and the parade starts at 4:30 pm. WCRP will then hold their Ice Cream Social at the Fair Grounds immediately following the parade.
The 2019 Gateway to the West parade was a success! The Washington County Republican Party float prepared and handed out over 420 hot dogs as well as candy along the parade route. Volunteers cooked, wrapped and placed WCRP stickers on each hot dog prior to the parade. They were very popular!
Please volunteer to help with the Washington County Republican Party parade float at the 2019 Gateway to the West parade. Line-up starts at 11:30 am. We will need help setting up the float and preparing hot dogs to HAND OUT during the parade. We have foil hot dog wrappers and will cook & wrap the hot dogs prior to the parade start. We will NOT be holding anything after the parade.
Please plan to attend the Washington County Republican Party Central Committee meeting on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Blair Public Library at 7:00 PM. Special guest will be Senator Ben Hansen with a legislative update.
