2013 Gateway Parade & Picnic
The Washington County Republican Party participated in the 2013 Gateway to the West Parade and held their popular Picnic in the Park immediately following the parade. The parade was not as heavily attended this year due to a cool, steady rainfall. Even though the weather was not ideal, the WCRP served hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and refreshments to over 275 people this year at the Steyer Park pavilion. 2013 Gateway photo album
2013 Lincoln-Reagan Day Brunch
The 2013 Lincoln-Reagan Day Brunch was held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the DC Centre in Omaha. Co-sponsored by the Douglas, Washington and Sarpy County Republican Parties, the event was attended by over 250 people and focused on honoring GOP volunteers. Washington County Republican Party Officers Elected
The Washington County Republican Party held elections for the 2013-2014 Executive Committee positions at their January 21, 2013 Central Committee meeting. Lisa Kramer retired as Secretary after faithfully serving 6 years with distinction . Elected to replace Lisa as Secretary was Dawn Klein. Re-elected as Chairman was John Orr, Vice Chairman Jeff Burianek and Treasurer Kent Van Horn. All current Central Committee members were re-elected along with new members Darren Klein and Lisa Osika.
