Washington County Republican Party

The Washington County Republican Party had their float in the 2018 Washington County Fair parade on Sunday, July 29, 2018 with a number of Republican candidates and office holders walking with and around the float. Following the parade the WCRP hosted their annual Ice Cream Social on the fairgrounds handing out over 1,000 ice cream treats to happy county fair attendees.

For those attending the 2018 NEGOP State Convention, please find these great events to attend while in Nebraska City June 15-16, 2018.

Please plan to attend the 2018 Washington County Republican Party Convention & Candidate Forum. Food will be provided. This is a great opportunity to talk with and hear from all Republican candidates running for office in 2018. From Governor, US Senator to County Supervisor and School Board. Sign-in & social time begins at 5:30 with the candidate forum starting at 6:00 PM. (a free will $10 donation is encouraged to help cover expenses) The WCRP will hold their county convention following the forum after 7:00 PM.

Senator Deb Fischer campaigned for re-election in Blair on Friday, February 16, 2018. Blair was the first of three campaign stops Friday for Senator Fischer, with stops in Fremont and Wahoo in the afternoon. About 40 people attended the Fischer meet and greet at Fernando’s Cafe & Cantina in Blair during lunch.  Senator Fischer spent time one-on-one with everyone in the room, gave an update on Senate bills and explained specifically her votes on important issues.  The event finished with Senator Fischer answering questions from the attendees. Fischer Meet & Greet Blair photos
