It was a beautiful day for the 2026 Washington County Fair Parade and WCRP Ice Cream Social today. A good-sized group of volunteers walked with the Washington County Republican Party and Senator Pete Ricketts, Ted Japp for Legislature and Shawn Cooper for Blair Ward 4. Thanks much to volunteers Jake & Carlie Anne Bettin, Kent Van Horn, Margaret Hanson, Gene Scrivner, Lisa Lichter Kramer, Kevin Willis, Jody Koziol, Joy Cohrs Curry, Chris Chappelear, Lori Japp, Ritch Allen Nelson, Mike Anderson, Joe & Mary Goebel, Brenda Orr and many others. Republican candidates Senator Pete Ricketts, LD16 State Senate Ted Japp and Blair City Council candidate Shawn Cooper handed out ice cream treats at the WCRP Ice Cream Social following the County Fair Parade as folks were arriving the the evening rodeo.
