The Washington County Republican Party held their July 2026 meeting at the Blair Public Library. The meeting was attended with 27 Republicans signed in for this meeting. Nebraska Republican Party State Chair Mary Jane Truemper updated our county on the NEGOP efforts for electing Republicans in 2026 with all candidates and county parties operating under “Together We Win”. State Senate candidate and 2026 primary winner Ted Japp is hitting all events throughout LD16 with a positive message that has been well-received. Blair City Council candidate-Ward 4 Shawn Cooper also spoke at the meeting. NEGOP State Central Committee members Gene Scrivner and Sandy Kucera attended there first SCC meeting and will be a great conduit for Washington County and the state party.
