The Washington County Republican Party party hosted Congressman Adrian Smith at Too Far North in Ft Calhoun on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Fiftyfive (55) Republicans attended the event that included State Senator Ben Hansen, Washington County Attorney Scott Vander Schaaf, Washington County Sheriff Mike Robinson, Washington County Board President Steve Dethlefs, Washington County Board Supervisor Lisa Kramer, Fort Calhoun Mayor Mitch Robinson, Blair City Councilwoman & candidate for Blair Mayor Mindy Rump, Omaha City Councilwoman Aimee Melton, former State Senator Theresa Thibodeau and Blair School Board candidate Courtney Tabor.

49 Republicans attended the Washington County Republican Party meeting held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at The American Legion in Ft Calhoun. Our District 16 State Senator Ben Hansen spoke with the group primarily about property taxes and his new “Tax Transparency” (LB644) that was put into action. WCRP also handed out Republican candidate yard signs along with a Washington County Republican Slate

Here is the 2022 Washington County Republican slate of candidates. This is a complete list of all Republicans running for office that will appear on various Washington County ballots. Depending on which school district, township, city, etc. in which you reside, you will not see all these names on your ballot.

Washington County Republican Party meeting *CHANGED TO Monday, Oct 24, 2022 beginning at 7:00 PM. Will have yard signs and Washington County Republican slate cards available to take home. Also, Senator Ben Hansen will review the success of LB644, the tax transparency bill that was in effect in 2022.

Please plan to attend the WCRP Central Committee meeting this coming Monday, July 25th beginning at 7:00 PM. Senator Ben Hansen will discuss the upcoming General Election. We will also plan for the 2022 Washington County Fair Booth, parade and ice cream social on July 31st.

Please plan to attend the WCRP Central Committee meeting this coming Monday, May 23rd beginning at 7:00 PM. Senator Ben Hansen will recap the 2022 Nebraska Unicameral session. We will also plan for our float in the 2022 Gateway to the West parade on June 11th.
