The Washington County Republican Party meeting was held Monday, March 27, 2023 at the Blair Public Library. 32 Republicans heard updates from Senator Fischer and Senator Ricketts campaigns. Cindy Miller led a good discussion on organizing neighborhood captains and volunteers to help recruit and support Republican candidates. A list of all candidates running for re-election was handed out with Democrats and Independents highlighted for all to consider friends or neighbors who might be interested in running for these positions. Senator Ben Hansen led a great discussion on the current Nebraska Unicameral session and legislation introduced and getting advanced. Ben Stangl led the group in prayer for Senator Hansen and our legislators facing difficult hosility in their work to better Nebraska.
