Despite rainy weather before and during the 2019 Washington County Fair Parade, the Washington County Republicans parade float entry was a success. Following the parade, the WCRP served over 340 ice cream treats to fair and rodeo attendees. Republican office holders in the parade and helping serve treats included Nebraska State Senator Ben Hansen, Washington County Attorney Scott Vander Schaaf, Washington County Sheriff Mike Robinson, Blair City Councilman Kevin Willis and Burt County Attorney Frank Barron.
